Found an old book called A Method For Creative Design by Adolfo Best Maugard in 1926 that presents a novel approach to drawing and design by simplifying everything into 7 line motifs, doodled this little feline friend inspired by his process

This one is like a month old, but I had fun designing shapes and playing with some high-ish key lighting

Plucked a figure out of my practices for the day to flesh out a bit while keeping that design ball rolling from the silly kitty

Back on my bs spending my time trying to figure out how to make art rather than actually making art myself. This time I'm trying to squeeze the magic sauce from Eric Bowman's paintings (haven't even gotten started on studying the brushwork, which is like the coolest part) HD link for slightly clearer text

A couple years ago I recorded myself spraying red ink on a piece of paper at different distances and velocities. Recently I rediscovered the footage and decided to go clean up all the splatters and split them up into 61 different png files.

Figuring this might be useful for other animators, I decided to import them all into flash and traced them into a bunch of symbols ready for use in animation.

Hey, I was making some bloods for fun this afternoon and decided to share them since I'm probably never gonna use them lol. I was trying a new style that's inspired by old school movie squibs that are kinda stringy. Have fun, remember to credit me. Just doing my part in the war against Corn's Blood Pack in Madness animations, please god stop using it, or at the least use it correctly- or better yet, MAKE YOUR OWN ITS NOT THAT HARD. Here's something I threw together for all you psychopaths pestering me in private messages. These are not intended to be used in animation, they are more just a reference for those of you who feel lost while animating. Also, to give inspiration to all you lame people out there who refuse to draw or animate anything in your animations and rather just steal other people's stuff.

Each model fits into each other and is mapped mostly accurately, or as I would imagine human anatomy to map onto madness figures. Each piece is separated into groups in their own layers so it can all be rearranged to your choosing.

Due to the modular nature of it, you can create easy references to draw from in your own animations by just layering all the parts on top of each other and erasing sections layer by layer. This is demonstrated by the top left.
